Episode #166: Introduction to The Case of the Grandmotherly Ghost 1

My brother and I recently stated a new Dungeons and Dragons campaign that he created set in the world of The Thirteenth Hour. Whereas last adventure (The Case of the Almost Assassination) was set within the confines of a city, this one that Jeremy created takes places in the small country hamlet that the protagonists of The Thirteenth Hour, Logan and Aurora, grew up in, Aquaria. In this episode, I set the stage to the start of the adventure by reading a few background excerpts from The Thirteenth Hour that introduces the “ghost” in question, the former headmistress of the orphanage where Logan and Aurora grew up and the surrogate mother and guardian to them and many other generations of Aquarian orphans.
Here’s a picture of our heroes – on the right is the level at which they’re beginning this latest adventure.
